Description

A very badly decayed bundle of cordage, containing 705mm of 4 strand, S laid cable or cablet, 4 inc circ. (32mm dia.). The cable is made from 4 pieces of 3 strand, Z laid rope, approx 1 ¾ inch circ (14mm dia.), S laid strands of which contain 8 yarns There is a heart which comprises of 2 very coarse yarns and would have originally measured about 6-7mm in dia., but shows clearly the crush marks of the 4 outer ropes.
