Description

An estimated 100m of rope, approximately 9-10mm dia., each strand S laid, from 4 Z laid yarns. It was originally made up as a coil or hank measuring more that 650mm long, which it currently measures in a very relaxed state. The hank is tied off at each end, which could suggest that either it was as supplied by the ropemaker, or it had carefully been tied up for long term storage. The tying off was the same each end and would have used both ends of the rope.
